The contract, for the construction of an EfW - Incinerator, was awarded in June of 2019. KBS-Firing technology was commissioned with the preparation and delivery of all drawings and parts lists and other technical documents. The scope of the contract includes not only the engineering, but also the process engineering for combustion air and Firing chamber design, in cooperation with an external technical office and the boiler supplier.

 
The complete furnace consists of:

Underframe for furnace grate

Feed hopper, feed chute and feed device.

Grate, consisting of main grate (single-lane watercooled) and Residual burn-out grate (air-cooled).

Ash hopper for main- and Residual burn-out grate.

Components for the removal of slag.

Grate cooling system.

Complete hydraulic for single lane grate.

Process engineering for the Firing, incl. Firing chamber design.

After a construction period of 12 months, the new EfW-plant was handed over to the client in July 2020 for warm commissioning and subsequent trial operation.
