This order for the construction of an EfW-Incineration plant was placed in November 2020. The technical basics of the plant were already given with the Daeyang project. KBS-Firing technology provided the basic engineering. In addition to the engineering, the scope of the contract also includes the process engineering for combustion air and furnace design, in cooperation with an external technical office and the boiler supplier.
The complete furnace consists of:
Underframe for furnace grate
Feed hopper, feed chute and feed device.
Grate, consisting of main grate (single-lane watercooled) and Residual burn-out grate (air-cooled).
Ash hopper for main- and Residual burn-out grate.
Components for the removal of slag.
Grate cooling system.
Complete hydraulic for single lane grate.
Process engineering for the Firing, incl. Firing chamber design.
After a planned construction period of 15 months, the new EfW-plant is to be handed over to the client in April 2022 for warm commissioning and subsequent trial operation.
